Setups, Puppies and bit of Sega History

Have not been able to post any new content lately as I have recently purchased a puppy, as everyone who has ever looked after one knows they are a 24/7 job, so I thought I would quickly post up a photo of my current gaming setup and talk about a fairly rare console I own called the Sega SC3000H

So to start off with these are my consoles that are all hooked up, with the exception of the Playstation as I don't have a AV cable for it, however my Playstation gaming is done on my Playstation 2 at any rate.

A little Big Ban is always good.

So from top to bottom starting from the left we have Sega Dreamcast, (DVD Player/Digi Box), Xbox 360, Wii, NES, Playstation 2, Xbox, Snes, N64, Sega Saturn (Japanese), Playstation, Sega Megadrive. I have most of what I am after in terms of consoles, I wont lie I would love to get my hands on a Neo Geo, Master System and a few others but at the moment everything I wanted, and quite a few more, I have. I do plan on getting a Gamecube, even though I use my Wii via Component cables, if only to use it for the Gameboy Player. I also have a boxed Sega SC3000H, which not a lot of people know about, it is basicly a Sega Mark I with a built in keyboard that could also have bunch of add-ons such as a tape player, etc.

Sega History, right here.

I dont have any Mark I controllers or Mark I carts for it, I have tested it out with the Basic cart that is pictured, so I know it works, it might just take awhile for me to come across a controller and game for it, but one day.

  3. It use to be pretty ugly, until I found that unit at the 'AS IS' section of IKEA for $60, it was all ready put together (Pain in the ass to get home, had to get my girlfriends mum to come pick me up) and it had a pretty big chip at the front. I unscrewed the top and flipped it, so now the chip is at the back and not visible at all.

I tend to enjoy gaming more when everything is neat and hooked up at the same time. I do need to buy a component switch box though, man they are expensive.
